Sleep Sounds App Reviews

I wanted to get some sound therapy music to help me sleeping. I originally want to get the brookstone sound music. But that one is $100 and this from iPod is only $1 and have more choices.

I love this app although I only use about three of the sounds, I cant sleep without them!

I am in LOVE with this app!! It is so comforting after a long day. Love the variety of sounds. Love the mixing of sounds feature. The only thing I have to say negatively is with the newest update (3/17 or 3/18) my timer stopped working and the app ran all night. The timer itself stopped and the app showed it wasnt playing my sounds, but there were thunderstorms and crickets coming out of my phone!! Fix please!! Thank you! P.S. I recommend to all!!

Nice variety of sounds (although I raised my eyebrow at "piledriver" lol), volume settings, pick one or combine several sounds, timer...everything I would want. Ocean waves puts me right out! Even tho sound loops, I cant discern a break, which would be distracting. Good app.

While some of these soundtracks are relaxing a few of them do have very noticeable breaks in each segment. The wind chimes are the most noticeable as an example. I would prefer fewer tracks with much longer loop times in between repeats rather than such short loops, as on several of them your brain CAN detect the loop break after a few minutes.

I enjoy the custom mixer creating my own happy place!

This app works for me. Some strange ones in there, but the app is intuitive and does its job well.

I can barely hold my eyes opened while writing this. Perfect for restless nights . Who knew that sound could be so realxing!

So many really good choices I dont honestly know how I slept before with out these. Now I fall asleep faster and sleep much better even when Im stressed out!! Well worth the $!!

I began previewing each sound after I purchased this app. I was happy until I got halfway down the list. Each sound from that point on seemed to skip and restart... skip and restart. I cant imagine this ever being relaxing! At first I thought it was only that particular sound, but as I sampled each sound thereafter, it was the same "skipping and restarting"! I dont know why its happening or how to fix it, but now Im left with half an app that cant be used - and of course it would be the half with all the good sounds! Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for!

Awesome app! I am an insomniac and try not to use medicinal sleep aids. This app has helped a lot.

This app is great. It helps my baby sleep and me too. Wonderful!! I use the rain and heart beats ...

It seems at least 1/2 of the sounds have seascape gaps in the sounds and for me its not conducive in aiding with falling asleep its a distraction.

I use this app everyday even when Im not sleeping . I use it on the train just to calm down and unwind before I start my day! I love it

Love this App. I use almost everynight.

I have had recurring problems with this apps updates. They dont complete and that pesky numeral never leaves the top of my app store icon. This has happened more than once. I inquired with the developer who sent me a testy reply telling me to consult Apple about their servers. Apple then replied with on line support options. Basically, no one seems to be bothered to clean up this update process.

Like the app. Good selection. The sounds just kept cutting out. Very annoying.

I need white noise all the time. This app is a lifesaver when I am staying in a hotel and dont have a fan. Love the night crickets!

For when I need a little help falling asleep . Awesome for that .
